The Corvette has been around since 1953. In 1953, Chevrolet unveiled their brand new sports car called the Corvette C1. According to Corvetteforum.com, the “C” in C1 stands for Corvette. The C1 was a brand new car that didn’t compete with anything, it was a first in its category. The C1 had extraordinary looks and had two beautiful facelifts. The C1 was inspired by European designs, like Ferrari. Then in 1963, Chevrolet continued the Corvette by calling the second generation, the C2. The C2 had a more Muscle approach to the car market. And Chevrolet came out with the StingRay variant of the model, and it is just gorgeous. Then the C3 came along, don’t get me wrong, this Corvette is one of the most popular. Corvettes, and the sleek and long hood looks great, but in my opinion, it is not the best. Then in 1984 to 1996 Chevrolet made the C4, this car was amazing at its debut. But right after Chevrolet discontinued the C4, all the old men started buying these after their mid-life crisis. Then in 1997 to 2004, Chevrolet made the C5, it had pretty similar looks to the C4, the C5 just was better in every way. This car was great at its debut, but of course, all old men started to collect these, so they have lost their value a bit, but I cannot lie, it is still a great car. In 2005 to 2013, Chevrolet created the, you guessed it, the C6, a totally original Corvette, just kidding, almost identical, but Chevrolet just packed a few more ponies under the hood. Then from 2014 to 2019, Chevrolet made a totally new car, no seriously, they made a brand new car from scratch, this new C7 was amazing, it was the first Corvette, yet, Chevrolet to compete with major brands like Porsche and even Lamborghinis. But of course, last year, 2020, Like all bad things, just kidding, the C8 corvette, is truly a great car, the second Corvette to be rear engined, the first was the first generation, well, some of them at least, not all, I can only find limited research about that, so sorry. The 2020 Corvette competes with Porsches, Lamborghinis, McLarens, and even the Mercedes AMG GT. Now it is time for the C8s specifications. It has a top speed of over 184 MPH, 6 mph lower than its primary competitor, the 911 Carrera S. It has a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds, .1 second faster than the million dollar McLaren Senna. Now it is time to talk about My Opinion, all corvettes are super cool, but the best one is either the first, second, or eighth, but I think the eighth is best. One of the main reasons why, is because of the outstanding price, Chevrolet, are you high? Under 60 thousand dollars for a super car, think of a super car that is slower, the McLaren Senna, for over 25 bitcoins, or 1,000,000 usd.
